how I got it
I spent quite a lot of time that morning trying a combination of chasing these fast shore birds up and down the beach and sitting still and waiting for them to come to me. Key to it all was being as low as possible to the ground when taking the shot

how i captured
I was up at sunrise looking for both sunrise and shorebird shots in Fenwick. Late in the morning, after the sun's position had changed, I was able to finally get a shot where the Osprey wasn't backlit. Only later when I zoomed in did I realize it had a fish in its talons

This Skipper was quite content to just sit there on the sunflower and let me try a number of poses. This included a higher zoom to get good detail with a lens that let me get pretty close to the insect
